Organize Your Papers

Are you tired of shifting bills and junk mail from kitchen counter to the office desk in your home? Take control in the fight against paper clutter with these smart tips:

  • In and Out Boxes: Organize your papers with an in and out tray. Birthday cards, permission slips, or items to look at later, will have a direction in your trays.
  • File it: Do you have a filing cabinet in your home? If not, set one up to keep track of important documents. Be sure to organize the file cabinet when you set it up to make it easier to find what you’re looking for later.
  • Wall files: Try installing hanging magazine holders to organize your mail and other papers quickly. Having a wire file visible may help keep important papers on your mind.
  • Organization on the go: Use a portable coupon and receipt organizer and keep it where you’ll remember to take it when running errands. The holder’s small size can make it easy to keep in the glove compartment of your car or your purse.
