Highlights from the January data include:
- January 2018 average sales price for new & existing homes combined ($229,525) is 7.3 percent higher than January 2017.
- There were 2,765 home sales (new & existing combined) for January 2018 – 5.8 percent lower than last January (2,935) when inventory was higher.
- Home inventory (new & existing combined) for January 2018 (6,453) is 17.3 percent lower compared to January 2017 (7,800).
- The supply of new and existing homes for January 2018 is 2.0 months representing a home market favoring sellers.
